Sharing and Exporting Deals

Once a deal is confirmed, SplitRE gives you a few ways to get its numbers out to an agent or into your books — all from the same row of icons on the deal's row or drawer on Deals.

Emailing an agent their breakdown

Confirming a deal (see Entering and Managing Deals) automatically emails the agent their commission breakdown — you don't need to do anything extra for this. To resend it, click the email icon in the deal's action row.

Click the print icon to open a printable breakdown in a new tab (brokerage name, deal address, confirmation date, agent name, and the full commission numbers), then use Download PDF to save it via your browser's print dialog.

Click the share icon to copy a link to that same breakdown straight to your clipboard — useful when you'd rather paste it into an email or text than send it from SplitRE directly. Right now, viewing that link requires being signed into your SplitRE account, so it works well for pasting into your own notes or a message to yourself, but an agent without a SplitRE login of their own won't be able to open it — email or the PDF download above are the reliable ways to get an agent their numbers today.

Exporting confirmed deals for QuickBooks

To pull a batch of deals into your accounting software:

  1. On Deals, select the confirmed deals you want (voided deals can't be selected).
  2. Click Export CSV for QuickBooks.

This downloads a CSV formatted for QuickBooks import, with columns for date, address (split into street/city/state/zip), agent, sale price, commission %, GCI, agent net, broker net, and pre-written QBO invoice/bill descriptions. It only includes the deals you selected — for a full data dump of everything in your brokerage, see Exporting Your Brokerage Data instead.

For help setting up your QuickBooks Online chart of accounts to receive this export correctly (income accounts, agent vendor records, 1099 tracking), see QuickBooks Online for Real Estate Brokerages: A Practical Setup Guide.
